Van Der Valk Hotel Mechelen

The beautifully renovated building added character to my stay, and my Standard Twin Room was well-appointed. Breakfast featured fresh products and the staff were genuinely welcoming, ensuring a pleasant experience despite my late arrival.

Variety of great food. Very very helpful staff with a smile. Stunning and favourable location close enough to Van der Valk Mechelen, the center and de restaurant.

the a double room was absolutely gorgeous and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. the location was great and beautiful, easy to walk in to the town centre, and the view was particularly nice, too. moreover, it's next to the city center and restaurant and belgium.

Spacious accommodations featured modern decor. A nice touch was the comfortable layout.

Walkways were uneven and sometimes slippery, which posed a potential hazard . The bed setup had two soft mattresses that sank down too much when I sat. My room wasn't cleaned during a two-night stay, quite disappointing.

The place is fabulous, the staff are superfriendly and accommodating.

I would stay here again without hesitation, the hotel met requirements. The location is great, not too far away from Grand Place Mechelen. Nice restaurant offers excellent food...

Had a sweet as stay-rooms were super clean and the staff heaps friendly! Bit of a hassle with the temperamental shower, though. Decent vibe.

Beautiful Design but Noisy Surroundings

I loved the gorgeous interior design and spacious layout of my room. It felt luxurious. The breakfast spread was excellent.

The suite was a letdown, but the cozy room made up for it.

Had a mighty time enjoying the grand views from me room! The breakfast was top notch, a right feast to start the day. Only downside was the shower acting up a bit. a grand stay all round!

nice hotel but not ideal surroundings

The hotel featured excellent interior design with a warm atmosphere. The Loft room I stayed in provided ample space and a modern layout that allowed for easy movement. Staff members were friendly. My family appreciated the way the spacious accommodations catered to our needs.

The superior room was spacious and cozy. Breakfast was fantastic, with loads of options. It's also conveniently close to the center, just a short walk away.

The superior room was impressively spacious. The excellent shower provided a relaxing experience after a long day. Breakfast was a standout. There was an extensive variety, ensuring a hearty start to the day. The staff were helpful.

The window being so high up made it impossible to enjoy any view.
